Multimedijalnu izložbu B A R K E čine tri elementa.
Drugi element čine k e r a m i č k e f o r m e Ivane Petan – apstraktne forme barki izrađene u tehnici pa- pir-porculana, šamotirane gline i glazura.
”U satima kada su more i nebo obojani istom bojom izgledaju poput jednog ogromnog plavog. Kroz njega bića različitih svjetova crtaju tragove bezbrojnih oblika, stvarajući neponovljivu man- dalu sudbina. Svaki trag priča svoju priču – svoj nastanak, put i svoje poslanstvo za kojim žudi. Otisnuti morski trag, uhvatiti mu formu – to se događa kroz poštovanje, slušanje i sudjelovanje svih vidljivih i nevidljivih fenomena koji stvaraju cjelinu otvorenog i svakog trenutka novog vode-no-zračnog prostora života.”
Treći element izložbe je v i z u a l n o – z v u č n a p r i č a, video projekcija MEDLand projekta – putovanje bro- dom Nalu otocima Sredozemlja. Riječ je o projektu za kojeg je vezano stvaranje cijele ove izložbe.
The B A R K E / B O A T S multimedia exhibition is built by three elements.
The first are Bojan Brecelj’s p h o t o g r a p h i e s, focusing on the construction of wooden boats on the island of Samos in the Aegean Sea, which is one of the few places in the Mediterranean where wooden boats are sought and masters still have a lot to do!
”Looking at the strong structures of the boats made of wood growing here, on the hill above the sea… the questions appeared: Is this the past? What is really the future of sea travel? Having in mind this questions, these photographs were created.”
The second element of the exhibition are c e r a m i c s c u l p t u r a l works of Ivana Petan – abstract forms of boats, made in the technique of paper-porcelain, chamotte clay and glazes.
”In the hours when the sea and sky are painted in the same colour, they look like one big blue. Through it, beings of different worlds draw traces of innumerable shapes, creating a unique mandala of destinies. Each trace tells its story – its creation, its path and its mission that it yearns for. To imprint the traces of sea, to take its form, it happens through the respect, hearing and participation of all visible and invisible phenomena that create the whole of the open and every moment of the new water-air space of life.”
The third element of the exhibition is the v i s u a l a n d s o u n d s t o r y, a video projection of the MEDLand project – a voyage of sailing boat Nalu amongst the islands in the Mediterranean, a project on which the creation of this entire exhibition is built on:
